The big fun of course happened before the game. Friday night I got to see my friend Steph and her husband Rich who had flown in from California for the game. We went to our old stomping ground...the Linebacker. I haven't been there in a LONG time but it was definitely fun! Steph and Rich didn't stay too long but Krisanne, Melissa and I had a really good time and stayed out way too late given we are not as young as we used to be!
Saturday was a beatiful day and we were out tailgating. We parked over at Saint Mary's and of course had way more food and drink than we needed. Krisanne and her parents joined Briella, my parents and I. Carly and a few of her friends stopped by as well. We got to see the new academic building on campus that just opened...Spes Unica Hall. Briella and I walked over to ND with everyone to hear the band. She was very disappointed that she didn't get to see the "cheerlarators." Hopefully this week we will be able to stick around and see them!
